On Friday, July 27, we will have a Welcome Banquet at 8 pm, which will be attended by officials, judges, and VIPs. The Chinese cuisine banquet will take place at the University of New Haven in the Alumni Lounge at Bartels Hall. It is just a couple minutes’ walk from the competition are and residence halls.
We have had also a number of inquiries from others about attending the banquet, so we will be selling a limited number of tickets to anyone who wishes to attend, including athletes, families, and friends. This is a special opportunity for you to meet some of the famous masters in attendance.
The banquet will be full=service meal, with each table seating ten people.

The meal will feature eight courses and be catered by Golden Dragon of Manchester, Connecticut. Golden Dragon regularly caters Chinese weddings and makes delicious, first class food.
